Hey everybody! Matt Guillory and I are very happy to announce that writing for my next solo album has started. We're very pleased with how well Static Impulse was received and are excited to be making a follow-up. You can expect all the usual suspects: (Marco Sfogli, Peter Wildoer, Ray Riendeau) In addition to this, we'd also like to announce that Peter Wichers (SOILWORK) is on-board as a co-songwriter. Peter loved Static Impulse and looks forward to making a kickass record with us. He is extremely talented and we're stoked to have him! More news to come. Stay tuned - and Happy New Year!

Also there will be more clinics for both Ibanez and Mesa/Boogie in the future so stay tuned for more news.
My next solo record is almost done, I have to finish some drums recording and then mixing and mastering it. I'm very proud and happy about the way it sounds already, many new guests on it like Peter Wildoer on drums, Ray Riendeau and Adam Nitti on bass and more to be announced!

It's been a while since my last update here. First of all I'm officially an Ibanez endorser. I've been using Ibanez guitars since a couple of months now and I'm very happy about them, once again kudos to the guys at Mogar Music to let me jump on board! Also I want to announce additional dates for the United Powers of Metal Tour featuring CREATION'S END, ARTIZAN, WIDOW & SEVEN KINGDOMS this summer! The tour will now kick off at Sullivan Hall in New York City, on Tuesday, August 16. Tickets will be on sale via TicketWeb soon. The final itinerary for the tour is as follows:

Due to some unforeseen difficulties with securing work visas for a couple of us the North American/Canadian tour to support Static Impulse has been canceled. I apologies with fans who wanted to really see this event happening but believe me, we're extremely upset as well. Hope to see you the next time!

The reaction from fans around the world on the new James LaBrie's record "Static Impulse" has been overwhelming. The album scored a #14 on Billboard's Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) and sold around 1,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release. So thank you all for your appreciation and respect to the hard work we put in this release.
