Guitar cab impulse

Hi Marco,

Have you ever heard about guitar cab impulses ?

Here it is a demo:

The guy used a Triaxis+2:90+ recto cab.

He did an impulse of the 2:90+recto cab+mic, and he did a A/B test

There are 3 clips:
the first is the Triaxis line out only (very fizzy)
the 2nd clip is the whole Mesa rig mic'ed
The 3rd clip is the Triaxis straight in the soundcard + impulse of the poweramp/cab/mic.

The difference is so small !!

The possibilities are great !! you can go in a studio, make an impulse of your poweramp+cab+mics with ideal placement, and use this for home recording !

Definitely the future for home recording. Moreover, you don't use your powertubes.
