Have you heard about the MARK V amp ? Petrucci was asked by Mesa/Boogie to test the prototype on the last DT shows. Will it be your future amp ?

Yeah I heard about it. I'm not sure it will be my future amp since I feel good with the stuff I have already.

The "impulse" as shown is really great!
My Question: How do I use it together with cubase and a pod (e.g)- that would be the perfect solution for homerecording.

KeFIR plug-in is the best to read impulses

Great tones on the Eleven! Much better than those on the DigiDesign site for sure.

Any inside info you're willing to share?

Default EQ tips

Hi Marco, very interesting thread, I am reviving it...

Would you mind giving us some tips about your EQ parameters? It means to make all the difference in the world and I always have a hard time finding the right settings...

BTW, I can't stop listening to your album! Too nice!

Regards
Nic

It's not an easy task here...it really depends from amp to amp and what tone you're looking for. For example, the sweet spot on the studio preamp is around 1.2-1.4Khz. You gotta also be very careful with the 4.0Khz since all the buzziness is usually around that frequency.

Hey Marco,

Now that you own an Axe Fx, could you tell me very quickly if MarkIIC+ sim of Eleven is as good as Axe-fx's one ?

I mean, I just need to know your feeling about tone quality and playability while playing a raw lead tone without reverb nor delay, just an A-b comparison of a MarkIIc+ straight in 4x12 V30 cab sim.

I don't care about the fact has more models or fx, blablabla. They are not the same product... Only the amp/cab quality of the IIc+ is important for me

Thank you very much

Gerald
